They spoke nostalgically of the wooden frame building that once housed the St. John Lutheran Church. And they spoke warmly of the regal stone church on Camp Meade Road that once was home to the Linthicum United Methodist Church. And they spoke proudly of the faithful congregations of those and the many other churches that have helped build the 100 years of faith in Linthicum.
When pastors and other representatives of all the churches in the Linthicum community gathered Wednesday, March 12, to participate in the annual Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights-sponsored Prayer Breakfast, it was to celebrate Linthicum's Centennial year and to honor the churches and congregations in town that helped make it so great. All the representatives from Linthicum's churches are pictured below:
